I am a native to Southwest NM. My great-grandparents homesteaded in the Silver City area in the early 1900’s. I learned the value of hard work and the NM lifestyle while growing up and working on my grandparents’ cattle ranch. I moved to AZ after high school and graduated from ASU in the mid 80’s. After working in several fields including owning a tavern and being an insurance adjuster, I felt the desire to bring my family back to silver city where my boys, James and Taylor could experience growing up in a small town as I did. Upon moving back to Silver City with my wife, Kim and our boys in1995, I joined the real estate office now known as Enchantment Realty. I became a broker in 1997. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, playing golf and tinkering around the garage. I am a “straight shooter” I don’t like high pressure sales. I prefer to make the client happy by educating them and guiding them through the buying or selling process. I moved to Silver City with my husband Jim and our 2 boys in June 1995 from the Phoenix area. I always thought I was a big town kind of girl until I got here. I love the eclectic people, the weather, the endless silhouettes of the mountains, the big blue sky and the simplicity of a small town. Jim and I have owned Enchantment Realty for almost 20 years. I’ve been the property manager for the last 15 years. With the Real Estate business picking up, my goal is to help anyone with what can be a frustrating and difficult experience and make it a seamless enjoyable one. My biggest success is being a mother of two wonderful boys, James 27 and Taylor 22. The biggest love in my life is my husband Jim. We’ve been married for 28 years and have been working together for almost 20 years! In my spare time, I enjoy working out, playing golf and just being home with my family. I have been a full time Realtor in Silver City since 2004. During that period, my sales results have been consistently in the top 10 of all realtors in our MLS. My first career as a credit union manager in Wisconsin has enabled me to close real estate transactions which might have otherwise fallen apart. Having grown up in a dairy farm family, l learned first hand the value of hard work (as well as where not to step!). For my customers I focus, listen, and follow through. Getting results is important to me. Before settling in Silver City, my husband George (a Forest Service retiree) and I traveled the US for five years in an RV. George and I volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and participated in building Habitat homes across the country. I was born and raised in the tri-county area of SW New Mexico. Silver City has been my family’s home since the late 1800’s. After living in Las Cruces, Albuquerque and Carson City NV, I returned home to Silver City with my husband and 2 daughters in 2001. We love the outdoors and SW New Mexico has so much to offer with mountains, lakes and an endless variety of wildlife. After selling our business, I decided to make the move into real estate and share the joys of home ownership and the Southwest with my clients, many of whom have become some of my best friends.
